Plain languageThe student organisers wrote this page in plain language. It is not legal advice, and the club’s advisor and the North Penn School District should review it.

Terms of service

The deal, in plain words.

Using this site means coming to a school evening run by students. These are the rules that come with it, and what we can and cannot promise you.

Effective September 17, 2026

In short

The short version

  • A pass is admission

It gets you through the door on the night. It is not an account, it holds no money, and it is not a ticket anybody has to honour if the evening changes.

  • Cash, to a person

Nothing is paid on this site. Admission is handed over at school, so there is nothing here to charge, refund or store.

  • School rules apply

The evening happens on school property, so the school’s rules come with it — in the building and in anything you type into this site.

  • We can get it wrong

Students built this. Times, rooms and details can change, and what the organisers say on the night is the final word.

What this is

KnightTANK is an evening at North Penn High School on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 5–8 PM, in the Main entrance. Run by North Penn FBLA, with CHIP, DECA, HOSA and TSA. This website is how people register for it and how the organisers run it.

The club is not a company, and there is no organisation behind this site to sue or to write to. It is students, an advisor and a school. These terms say what we will do and what we ask of you; they are not a contract for a service you have bought, because nothing on this site is sold.

Registering and your pass

  • Register with your real name and an email address you actually read. The pass link goes to that address, and the name on the pass is the name read at the door.
  • You may register other people in one booking — a family, a group of friends, a club. Ask them first. Registering somebody who did not agree to it is the one thing that wastes an organiser’s evening.
  • A pass link is long and unguessable, which is the only thing protecting it. Treat it like a ticket: anyone holding the link can open it.
  • Organisers can cancel a pass — one made in a false name, a duplicate, or one used in a way that puts the evening at risk — and can decide who comes in at the door.
  • A school is only ever the school somebody stated. Do not state one that is not yours.

Paying

What it costs

Admission is $5 for everyone. Professionals, teachers and staff attend free.

How it is paid

Cash only. Pay at the door on the night, or beforehand hand it to Mrs. Raschiatore in room E140 or drop it at the Business Planning Center.

When you register

Nothing is paid now. Registering costs nothing today — what your group owes is settled in cash on the night or dropped off beforehand.

Paying for other people

Anyone can pay for anyone: a parent for the family, an advisor for the club, a friend for a friend. The door marks each pass paid.

If you cannot pay

Need help, or can't pay but would like to come? See Mrs. Raschiatore in room E140.

Because no money reaches this website, there is nothing here to refund and no card detail to keep. If something about money has gone wrong — a pass marked paid that was not, or cash handed over twice — email patelh2@stu.npenn.org and a person will sort it out.

Entering a team

Students pitch a business solution to a problem in their community, their region or the world, to a panel of professionals, scored on a published rubric out of 100.

  • Entering costs nothing beyond admission. A team enters through the form on the competition page, and the entry needs a parent or guardian’s email address.
  • Enter your own idea and your own work. Bring somebody else’s and the organisers will take the entry out.
  • Judges fill in their own sheets on the published rubric. The organisers decide when and whether placings are published, and those decisions are theirs to make.
  • Entering does not hand your idea to anybody. It stays yours. What you say out loud in a room with judges and an audience is, of course, said in public.

How to behave

The evening is on school property and is run by a school club, so the school’s rules on conduct apply for the whole of it, to students and to guests. The professionals giving up an evening are guests of the school.

The same goes for anything you type into this site — a question, a note on a form, an entry, a message on a staff screen. Keep it clean and about the evening. Do not type somebody else’s personal details into a box that was not asking for them.

Do not attack the site: no attempts to read other people’s passes or records, no hammering the forms, no pretending to be an organiser. The organisers can stop a pass, an entry or an account over any of it.

Staff screens

Organisers, door staff, judges, room hosts and advisors sign in to screens that carry other people’s names, email addresses and money owed. If you have one of those accounts:

  • it is yours — do not hand the sign-in to somebody else;
  • what you see there is for running the night, not for keeping, copying out or passing on;
  • a clock in a judging room is started by a person pressing the button, never by the site, and a pairing between a phone and a desk ends when either side ends it.

Names and logos

North Penn High School, its name and its marks belong to the school district. Club and partner logos on this site are the official files, used with permission from the people they belong to, and are not ours to hand on: do not lift them from these pages for anything else.

The writing, drawings and code on this site were made by students in the club for this evening. Read it, screenshot it, send it to a friend who should come. Do not pass it off as your own or use it to run something that looks like our event.

What we cannot promise

Plainly: this site is built and run by students, and it is offered as it is. We cannot promise it will be up when you need it, that every detail on it is right, or that nothing will change between now and October 15.

  • Times, rooms and the order of the evening can change. What the organisers say on the night is the final word, and the door decides who comes in.
  • A page can be wrong. If a price, a room or a time here does not match what an organiser tells you, ask — and please tell us so it gets fixed.
  • The evening can be moved or called off, for weather, for the school’s own reasons, or because too few people came. Nobody has paid this website, so there is nothing to return; anything already handed over in cash is sorted out by the organisers.

None of this is an attempt to sign away anything the law does not let a school club sign away. Where these words and the school district’s rules disagree, the district’s rules win.

Changes, and ending

These terms can change as the evening gets closer. When the words change, the date at the top of the page changes with them; there is no version kept quietly in the background.

You can stop at any time: ask for your registration, pass or contact record to be removed and it is gone from the roster. What the site stores in the meantime, and how to have it taken out, is on the privacy page.

Contact

Ask a person.

Anything on this page that does not read right, or does not match what you were told: one email reaches the students running the evening.
